Passive smoking is a condition when the person is breathing smoke emitted by other people smoking and is not a smoker himself or herself

Passive smoking causes an increase heart disease and cardiovascular event such as heart attack and stroke.
Passive smoking also increases Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Secondhand smoke contains more than 4,000 toxins and carcinogenic substances.
Since the second hand smoke is invisible and odorless, it becomes more dangerous to people who live around smokers.
Passive smoking is also very hazardous to pregnant ladies and causes many health issues of the fetus or the baby. In pregnant ladies it may lead to Premature labor, Low birth weight babies, decreased lactation in mothers and Risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
Passive smoking should be actively avoided. Many countries have banned smoking in public places like restaurants and theaters. Smoking in cars and at home should be avoided
Smoking is bad and hence people should quit smoking, however, if they can’t then the next best thing is to prevent the family from passive smoking and the smokers should try to stay away from closed spaces while smoking.
